EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP

Lyn Newsome is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Core Insurance Investments.  She has a designation as a Licensed Insurance Broker, Producer, and Advocate.  Also, she has a designation as a Certified Business Management Leadership Professional. She has over 20 years of professional expertise in the insurance, financial, and business industries. She has worked in the capacity of advising individual clients as well as businesses in the areas of insurance, employee benefits, human resources management, managed healthcare, risk management, operations management, financial planning, retirement implementation, wealth management, assets protection, and business consulting. Throughout her career, she has worked directly with industry leading financial institutions, insurance carriers, independent insurance agencies, insurance brokerages, third party administrators (TPAs), and professional employer organizations (PEOs).  She has expert knowledge on advising clients on individual insurance products as well as on group insurance products due to her extensive expertise on serving both the individual and group insurance markets. She has represented clients in all aspects including the private and public services entities.  She is regarded as a trusted and proven leader in both the insurance and financial sectors. 

Lyn started her professional career as a Senior Manager at Chase Manhattan Bank now known as J.P. Morgan Chase.  While employed at J.P. Morgan Chase, she was responsible for working in a senior executive management role managing a team of employees as well as overseeing several wealth management financial portfolios. From there her next career was an Insurance Benefits Administrator with TeamStaff, which was a professional employer organization (PEO).  While employed at TeamStaff, she served in an executive management role in which the responsibilities included managing a client book of business by overseeing insurance management, employee benefits implementation, client relations, and human resources management. Later her next career move was as a Client Services Manager for Sunshine Companies, which was also a PEO.  While employed at Sunshine Companies, she served in an executive management role in which her responsibilities included managing and advising individual clients and group clients in the areas of insurance, human resources, employee benefits, risk management, and business consulting.

From the PEO environment, Lyn began to understand the imperativeness for clients to have adequate insurance products and services readily available to them.  She began to understand the need for every client to have proper insurance coverages in place in order to meet their requirements as well as to remain in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. At the time, she understood there was an extreme void in the insurance and financial industries.  Clients were going through multiple channels in order to find adequate insurance coverages, which were creating a huge gap.  She was determined to bridge this gap, which was her primary reason for creating Insurance Business Solutions (IBS) in June 2003.  Insurance Business Solutions (IBS) was eventually renamed Core Insurance Investments. Core Insurance Investments was created to offer simple solutions to individual clients as well as group clients looking for various insurance products and services with a professional, one-stop, hassle-free, holistic approach.  The mission and vision of Core Insurance Investments is that it strives to provide quality, comprehensive insurance products and financial planning in order to deliver a more secure future for every client.  

Lyn is dedicated to making Core Insurance Investments a premier, global organization whose reputation will continue to set the standards with high regards in both the insurance and financial industries. When Lyn is not busy running Core Insurance Investments, in her spare time she enjoys engaging in community services charitable events, traveling to tropical islands around the world, and spending precious moments with her family.
